I enjoyed a great weekend in Reading, PA – a small city that loves its music and loves its Symphony.  It was here many years ago that I heard a concert that redirected my life toward music, and it was here I returned just recently as guest composer, lecturer, and educator.  Music Director Andrew Constantine opened the Reading Symphony’s second century with a dynamic performance of my Hosannas of the Second Heaven – a work based on a passage in Dante’s Paradiso.  Audience reaction was great and so was the review!  I know it won’t take me so long to go back again.
